3MJ Consulting / GABON
Josiane Maténé is the general manager of 3MJ Consulting (operating in marketing, communication, and events) which she set up in 2014. She is responsible for the support programs of the NGO Sambas- Labs which organizes Les Sambas Kids since 2019. Following the Covid19 pandemic, she launched Les Sambas Pro Live, a derivative, and alternative of Les Sambas Professionnels that allows you to receive live every Wednesday and Saturday at 5 pm from Libreville a professional of Les Sambas Professionnels. It is an entirely digital program of which she is the main host.
REAL MUSIC / SHARJAH WORLD MUSIC FESTIVAL - EAU /IRAK
Born in 1970 in Baghdad into a family of prominent musicians, Furat Qaddouri is an experienced musician. Trained in music and inspired by the legendary oud player, the late Munir Bashir, Furat has eloquently acquired an expertise in the mastery of the Qanun, which he has over the years renewed from traditional use within an ensemble to solo use. His participation in several international events has allowed him to mix and incorporate rhythms from various cultures, including jazz and Latin music, giving his music a deep and expressive style, between the tradition of the Iraqi Maqam and modernity, as shown in the three albums he has released.
Festival Siccajazz - Tunisie
Ramzi Jebabli, lawyer, cultural operator is notably known for being the founder and director of the jazz festival “Siccajazz” in the region of Kef in Tunisia. In the same branch, he is also the founder and current director of the project “Siccaveneria”, a communication agency and tourism and cultural promotion of the Kef region.
Music in Africa Fondation - South Africa
Eddie Hatitye is one of the most prominent young cultural actors in Africa. He has been involved in the arts and culture sector for more than 10 years, contributing enormously to the creation of key structures on the continent. As Executive Director of the Music In Africa Foundation, a pan-African non-profit initiative that he has been leading since its inception in 2011, Hatitye has traveled the world, contributing to the creation of networks and other frameworks for exchange and implementing various projects.
Youssef J. Kamal
AZAÏ RECORDS ET SAHRAWI TALENT FESTIVAL – Maroc
Youssef J. Kamal, after growing up in Casablanca, obtained a master’s degree in economics in Paris and then began his professional career in art publishing. From 2001, back in Morocco, he initiated and contributed to the tourist and cultural development of the Moroccan Atlantic Sahara. Co-founder in 2006 of the Sea and Desert Festival of Dakhla, he created in 2012 Azaï Records, a label dedicated to Saharan music with about thirty artists in development since 2017 and a springboard dedicated to emerging artists from the south of the Kingdom. Finally, Youssef J. Kamal is also the co-founder of the collective “Maroc-Festivals”, created in 2012, and vice president of the Moroccan Association of Music Professions.
